LA927 has been preserved by me to compliment LA1443 and will carry this livery when finished. It is one of the most original surviving buses I have seen and retains a largely original interior (I need some green stripe stitched cushions though - can you help?). It also drives like a dream! The bus has been with Don's of Dunmow since 1983 on tiny-mileage school contracts and was acquired from them in August 2005.

The model is identical to some of my other Atlanteans, but is the first to feature this variant of the Glasgow livery. For a time, all 4 PTE liveries could be seen together on Glasgow's streets - a fact we are trying to replicate in preservation. Ibrox garaged LA927 authentically carried this version which was worn only by some Atlanteans and a handful of the AV class Ailsas making it the rarest of the 4 schemes.
