This long version of the EFE National has had it's front and rear panels fitted and filed flush, as the EFE versions look just like the seperate fittings they are.
The interior benefits from seperate seatback handrails and some additional detail around the cab.
The former N14 was in use as recently as 2002 with Lothian Buses when they surprisingly purchased a number of elderly Nationals in an effort to fend off competition during the Edinburgh bus wars.
Lothian have since withdrawn almost all of their Nationals including their own Mark 2s.
