ALEXANDER AY SEDDON
CENTRAL SCOTTISH SP5 (CFS 827S)

Over the years Central specified very few Y-type bodies with panoramic windows, and most it operated were inherited from other fleets. SP5 came with the takeover of Eastern's Airdrie depot and was painted in the livery more commonly associated with T-types. In addition, it was on Seddon rather than Leopard chassis.

The model has the additional benefit of seperate seat grab rails made from staples, and encompasses similar changes made to my other Y-type models. The side indicators were mounted sideways on some Seddons for both Eastern and Western, and this is portrayed on the model.
