ALEXANDER Y LEOPARD
CENTRAL SMT T49 (KGM 649F)

300 Leopards and 11 years back from the previous model I made, and Central were buying very similar buses.

The model uses EFE's earlier style of front panel and the shell is modified in the same way as the other short-bay Y-types. The front panel had its bumper removed, which is awkward because it becomes as thin as foil and needs reinforcement. Changes were made to the front side lights, side indicators and rear clusters to suit the prototype. The original headlights were completely ground away and new ones made from filler. Sadly the Modelmaster fleetname decals are again too large.
