EASTERN SCOTTISH S597 (SSX 597V)

Contrary to the Kelvin bus , this model could not have been more modified. It encompasses just about every change I have made so far to EFE Y-types featuring bus windows, wide entrance, service bus seats, single headlamps, later style of front panel and lights all round, simplified body moulding and the usual wheel nuts etc. Unlike the Clydeside Leopard , the interior is the original plastic item, but with the nearside row of seats re-arranged closer together to make room for the door and new seat backs made from plastic card.

For various reasons this bus has been very reluctant to come together and I would hasten to recommend doing one!
